Student InformationFurman offers a variety of study away programs for our students. Students can participate in semester, MayX or Summer programs. To explore our program options, visit the Study Away Application Portal.

 

The Study Away Student Handbook provides students with information on: planning finances application process pre-departure logistics cultural adjustments returning home.

 

For official university policies regarding academic regulations, transfer credit, and courses descriptions, refer to the current University Catalog or consult the Registrar’s Office.

Faculty and staff members will find information on proposing program, creating budgets, recruiting students, and health in safety in the Program Directors sections. 

Faculty interested in creating a new study away program should contact Paige Blankenship approximately two years in advance.
 

All faculty-led study away proposals and initial budgets are due on the first day of classes each August for programs to be offered the following May and fall and spring of the next academic year.
